Getting started
How do I get started?
Create your account with an email address and a password, and confirm the verification link we send you. Then either generate a new wallet or import the recovery phrase you already use. Before your first withdrawal you will complete identity verification, which is standard for any account that can move funds — after that, sending, swapping and staking are all a few taps away.
Is Coinmidco custodial?
No. Coinmidco never holds, moves or has access to your crypto or your recovery phrase. Your keys are generated on your device and stay there, and every transaction is signed locally. That also means no one else can recover your wallet for you — your recovery phrase is the only way back in.
Do I need an account or ID?
You sign up with an email address and a password, and we verify that address before your account is active. That is all you need to get started and to hold coins in your wallet. Identity verification is required before you can send or withdraw funds — it is completed inside the app, and it never gives us access to your keys or your recovery phrase.
Can I import a wallet I already use?
Yes. Import it with the backup phrase you already have. Because Coinmidco follows BIP39, BIP44 and SLIP-0010 derivation, the addresses it derives will match those in any compatible wallet — including BTC, EVM, Solana, Cardano and Polkadot accounts. If you already hold funds on those addresses, they appear straight away.
What happens if I lose my phone or laptop?
Install Coinmidco on any other device and import your recovery phrase. Your wallet — same addresses, same balances — is restored in seconds. This is why the phrase matters more than the device: it is the wallet, and the device is only a window onto it. Keep it somewhere offline, private and durable.
Can I use the same wallet on more than one device?
Yes. Import the same phrase on each device and they reach the same addresses and balances. Only the phrase and your PIN are needed; there is no pairing step. If you want to cut a device off afterwards, revoke it from the session list — your funds are unaffected either way.
Security
Where exactly are my keys stored?
On your device, encrypted. The recovery phrase is sealed with authenticated encryption under a key derived on that device, so the stored form is never a readable phrase. When you send, swap or stake, the transaction is signed locally and only the signed result leaves your device. See the security overview for the details.
What if someone finds my phone, or I forget my PIN?
Access to the app is protected by your PIN and biometrics, so a locked device does not expose the wallet. If you forget the PIN you can recover access by importing your recovery phrase again — the PIN protects the app, while the phrase protects the funds. Never share either with anyone.
Can Coinmidco reverse a transaction or freeze my funds?
No, and that is deliberate. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain it is final, and no company — Coinmidco included — can freeze, seize or claw back assets held in your wallet. The trade-off is that a mistaken transfer is also final, so always verify the address and network before you confirm.
How do I know the app is not sending my phrase anywhere?
The phrase is generated and used in the browser or app on your device, and the derivation paths follow published standards rather than anything proprietary. You can verify the addresses independently: import the same phrase into another reputable wallet and compare the addresses. If they match, the derivation is what it claims to be.
Fees & limits
What does Coinmidco cost?
Creating a wallet, holding assets and receiving funds are free. Internal swaps cost a flat 0.3%, always shown before you confirm. Sending on-chain costs only the network fee, which is set by the blockchain at the time you send. There is no subscription, account fee or custody fee.
Which chains and assets are supported?
Over 50 networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Cardano, Polkadot, Polygon, Litecoin, Avalanche, XRP Ledger, Aptos, Sui, Tron and more — each with its native address format and correct derivation path. New networks are added regularly. See the full list on the features page.
Are there withdrawal or holding limits?
The wallet itself imposes no limits: you can send any amount your balance covers. Network minimums and fees are set by each blockchain, and some optional account features (such as card purchases) have limits that depend on your region and verification level. Outgoing transfers may require confirmation depending on your security settings.
Do I need to keep a minimum balance?
No. There is no minimum balance and no inactivity fee. Keeping a small amount of the network's native coin can help you pay future transaction fees on that chain, which is worth remembering if you hold tokens on a network you rarely use.
Earn & staking
How do staking rewards work?
Pick an asset, an amount and a term. Rewards accrue continuously from the moment the position opens, calculated from the product's annual rate divided across the year. When you close the position, the principal plus the accrued rewards return to your wallet in a single transaction. You keep custody of the staked balance throughout.
Can I exit a position early?
Flexible products can be closed at any time and keep whatever has accrued. Fixed-term products release on the date shown when you committed, so choose a term you are comfortable with — including the possibility that you may want the funds sooner.
Are the rates guaranteed, and do I keep custody?
Rates are variable, not guaranteed, and can change with network conditions. You do keep custody: staked balances remain yours on-chain rather than becoming a claim on a company. Note that rewards are paid in the asset you stake, so if that asset falls in value, so does the value of your position — including by more than the rewards earned.
None of this is financial advice. Crypto assets are volatile and can lose value. Read the
risk disclosure before committing funds you
may need.
Still deciding?
Import an existing phrase, look around, and change your mind at any time — importing a wallet gives nobody else access to it.
